Dr Santiago Ibáñez Marsilla is a Tax Law Professor at the University of Valencia and Customs Law expert. He directs the Jean Monnet Chair "EU Customs law" granted by the European Commission. He teaches postgraduate customs law courses at several universities (Munster, Germany; Rosario, Colombia; San Carlos, Guatemala; Antwerpen, Belgium; Rotterdam, Netherlands) and has trained the staff of DG TAXUD and DG BUDGET. He has acted as senior expert in several TAXUD programs. Author of more than eighty publications, he is a member of the Editorial Board of the World Customs Journal, among other journals, and Founding Member of the International Customs Law Academy (ICLA). He is Senior Advisor in Spain for the Trusted Trade Alliance. Santiago will teach the Customs Valuation Module.
